ALOHAand welcome, I am Caro, founder of VEGANE VIBES, a blog I dedicate to all lovers of healthy, plant-based and uncomplicated cuisine. I’m not a star chef, but I love simple, tasty food that takes only 10 ingredients, a bowl or a pot and no more than 30 minutes of preparation. After all, why complicated when it’s easy?

WHY I HAVE VEGANE VIBES

Forabout a year I fell ill with a burn-out and had to radically change my life. At that time I was still employed as a sales director and travelled an incredible amount. Numerous meetings, trips, hardly any sleep and especially bad food eated at me. A new beginning had to come and the first thing I started to do was completely throw overboard my eating habits. At that time I decided to do a 30 day vegan challenge together with my husband and it was just gigantic. My skin, my sleep and my general well-being improved enormously. I felt like a new person. This experience has shaped me so positively that the vegetable kitchen has not let me go. Since then, I’ve been in the kitchen every day, conjuring up great vegan recipes that are simple, but without leaving the annoying food coma.

WHY VEGAN OR PLANT?

The answer is quite simple: because of health, the environment and ethical reasons. Of course, you can now choose your favorite answer. At first I just wanted to improve my health, but gradually I read more and more into the subject, watched movies like WHAT THE HEALTH (http://bit.ly/2h992sO) and COWSPIRACY (http://bit.ly/1p1fBso) and found for me that vegan diet goes much further than “just” eating healthily. VeganE VIBES welcomes everyone, whether people with lactose intolerance, animal lovers like Miley Cyrus or just fans of good food.

WHAT AWAITS YOU?

Eine a lot of delicious dishes that do not require animal products such as eggs or cow’s milk, lots of background information about the dishes, their ingredients and nutritional values. Since I am a big fan of superfoods and co-founded CHACAFOODS, you will always find superfoods in my recipes. The powders have an incredibly high nutritional value and give you the ultimate boost of micronutrients. These are combined to almost all dishes that are heated below 42 degrees. With pizza, pasta, curry and co & this is a misrepresentation at first, but let yourself be surprised, I usually find a way.

ALWAYS TRAVEL – IN STYLE

Youwondered why I started aLOHA right at the beginning? Well, I lived and studied in Hawaii for 6 months some time ago. Since then, the travel fever hasn’t let me go. So look forward to exciting food stories from faraway countries. As if that weren’t enough, I’ve been practising yoga and meditation for some time now and I’m looking forward to reporting from these exciting areas of my life as well.
