Delicious and healthy granola made from oatmeal, nuts, cocoa and pre-Christmas spices. Rounded off with fine orange peel and pure orange oil. Naturally oil-free, sugar-free and gluten-free.
Preheat the oven to 165 degrees (convection) or 185 degrees (top and bottom heat) and line a baking tray with baking paper or a baking mat.
Provide a large bowl. Oatmeal. Add in cocoa powder, pecans, coconut flakes, dried apple rings, gingerbread spice, orange zest, maple syrup, almond paste, (optional) orange oil, (optional) molasses and mix with a spoon until everything is well combined.
200 g Oatmeal, 30 g Cocoa powder, 50 g Pecans, 35 g Coconut flakes, 30 g dried apple rings, 2 tbspn Gingerbread spice, 1 tbspn Orange peel, 120 ml maple syrup, 65 g Almond paste, 3-5 Drop Orange oil, 1 tbspn Molasses
Spread the finished mixture evenly over the baking sheet and bake in the oven for 15 minutes on the LOWER SLIDE of the oven. At the end of the 15 minutes, turn the baking sheet once completely so that the granola browns evenly.
TIP:If you're into chunks in granola, I recommend NOT going through with a spoon. Simply turn the baking tray once and you're done.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely.
Garnish with fresh plant milk, plant-based yogurt and optional toppings. enjoy!
